La Arrolladora Banda Limon

Niña De Mi Corazon
I absolutely love this song  Niña De Mi Corazon. This song was dedicated to me lol. Well the lyrics are so sweet i'll translate some of them in English.

Tell me what you hide behind your eyesTell me this instant what you are missing,I am with you to protect you,I want to be the angel who cares for your soul.
Do not let anything erase your smileyou're the girl I always dreamed ofjust to see you happy I would do anything,I finally live in love.
You have the fragrance of garden flowers,Every morning the sun shines because of you,There is so much tenderness in your heart, but it was your innocence that captivated me.
And every day my love grows more, and it because of you that sadness is forever gone,I thank fate that put you in my waygirl of my heart.
You're as sweet as the river water, today because of your smile my life has meaning,my love, I want to tell you that since you came in my life you
Woke up my illusion, girl
of my heart

It sounds better in spanish. The music video is about a little boy and girl that fall in love at the orphanage. The little girl then gets adopted and the boy stays alone. Something like this happened to one of the band members. In his case the girl didn't get adopted she died in a fire accident.

GOING TO MEXICO (MAYBE)

This is what a dance in Quiriceo it's like five minutes from where i live in Guanajuato.
So I’m looking forward to December. Why??? Because I might go to Mexico J. The bad thing is that my mom told me that if I don’t behave and stuff she is not going to let me go. L To me this is very hard because for some reason my mom always says that I don’t behave and that if I really want to go I better do what she says and stuff like that. Basically I have to earn it. It sucks why can’t she just let me go without conditions. Last years Christmas was so boring all I did was stay home and do nothing. Our family didn’t even get together like other years. I think this day will be the same so I’d rather go to Mexico then stay here bored. I want to go so bad. I barely went this summer but I want to go again especially since my cousin is going to have her 15 party. I also haven’t seen her since two years and I really want to see her. Since her 15 is going to be over there some family from other states are going to go down to her party, so if I go I should see a lot of family that I haven’t seen in years. There are also a lot of people from all over the U.S. that go during December more than in the summer. The best part is that in December there is a party everyday! If I go I’m planning to not miss one I will at least go to the dances. J

La Llorona

La Llorona

La Llorona is a well known legend. It’s been around for years now. La Llorona or in English “The Weeping Woman” has various versions. The version that I was told by my grandma goes like this…… There was this beautiful woman in this small village she had had two kids from a guy that left her. One day this handsome guy comes to the small village and falls in love with her. She started talking with the guy and told him she had two kids. The guy told her that he didn’t want the kids that he only wanted her, and if she didn’t get rid of the kids he was going to leave her. She wasn’t going to let him go so she did as he pleased. She drowned her two kids. After that the guy left her for some other woman. She was so sad and mad at the same time because she had killed her kids. She then drowns herself. She goes to heaven and God asks, “Where are your kids,” she replies, “I don’t know.” God tells her that she is forbidden from heaven unless she brings back her kids souls. Now she wonders around calling for her kids. Some people have said they have seen her or heard her cry. My cousin told me that she heard La Llorona and that it was the most scariest thing she has ever heard. People say that when you are going to hear her and your asleep you wake up, and then you hear her cry. If you hear her cry nearby that means she is far away, but if you hear her cry far away that means she’s closer than you think. A lot of my family has said they’ve heard her cry. Some of them have seen her. They told me that you can’t see her face. She also appears as a beautiful woman and guys fall for her. She tells them to accompany her. By the time the guys realize it’s the Llorona they are lost in the mountains. I hope I never have to see her or hear her!

Guanajuato, Guanajuato

Guanajuato is the capital of Guanajuato. It's located 230 miles northwest of Mexico City. Guanajuato is surrounded by mountains. The frog is the symbol of Guanajuato. It has numerous mines of gold and silver that were exploded by townspeople over 500 years ago. Guanajuato has many beautiful places you can go visit. Some would be "El Pípila," which is a huge statue that represents a mine-worker, whose name was Juan Jose Martinez.

El Callejon del Beso (The Kissing Alley)
The alley is only 68 cm wide. It got it's name because of a legend. The legend tells the story of two young lover whose families opposed their love. They would secretly meet at their window balconies. One day while they were secretly seeing each other the girl's father caught them when they were about to kiss. The father killed the young man there. They say that the coulples that go and kiss on the third stair step are guranteed seven years of happiness.

El Mueso de Las Momias (Mummy Museum)
(smallest mummy in the museum)
Guanajuato is also known for its mummy musem. The mummies have characteristics that denote desperate and horrific awakening in the narrow space of being buried alive. In most cases the real death preceded by moments of serenity, with no signs of suffering. The museum has over 100 mummies.

There is alot of beautiful places in Guanajuato these are three of the major ones.

San Jose Parangueo, Guanajuato

Guanajuato is the place where I go visit most of the time. I go visit Guanajuato beacuse my family is over there, and beacause its's the bomb. The town that I grew up in is San Jose Parangueo. This town has pretty much everything! It's a well known town. During the day it's calm not much going on, but at night it's a whole diffrent town. On Sunday nights the Plaza is where the people go to. Whether they young, old, mid-age, or kids. The old people are usually sitting down on the benches. The young people are the ones walking around, and the kids are the ones running around all over the place. It's really fun beacause when you get with your friends there is so much to do. I don't have an acutal picture of the plaza or in spanish el jardin, but its something similar to this picture.
